TJP 1/22/09

Are you looking for a new job? Are you Unemployed and Under-Employed? A member of the Dallas community has created a website just for you. www.CareerDFW.org was created in November 2008 as a way to consolidate all the information in the area into one easy to use place. The goal of CareerDFW is to give people the tools they need to land their next great opportunity.

What is on the website?  Calendars with Career Workshops, Career Networking Groups, Job / Career Fairs in the DFW area, Business to Business Groups, Professional Organization Meetings, Radio / TV Shows about your career. Sections on Websites are broken down in categories such as: Spider Sites, Mega Job Boards, Job Boards broken down by Profession, Company job web sites in the DFW area, Research Sites, Salary Sites, Networking Sites, Entrepreneurial Websites, and Other Useful Career Websites. Also is a section on Groups in the DFW area that are a great place to network and meet other people, i.e. Career Networking Groups, Professional Organizations, Business Groups, and Resource Rooms. The site talks about recruiters, how they work and how you need to work with them. CareerDFW also takes a look at career books that other people have recommended.

The website www.CareerDFW.org has been established to provide ONE place where anyone who is unemployed or under-employed in the Dallas Fort Worth area can find anything and everything to help with his or her career search that will result in employment.

The site is still a work in progress. For more information, contact Jeff Morris at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
